Abstract Submission Guidelines


Abstract Applications Open September 2026!


We accept original research, case studies, and preliminary research, as well as previously presented abstracts.

Word Limit:

Abstracts are limited to 250 words, excluding the title, authors, and affiliations.

Required Fields:

  • Title: Accurately reflects the content of the abstract.
  • Introduction: States the background, purpose, objective, hypothesis, clinical question, or rationale for the research or case study.
  • Methods: Describes the study design, setting, subjects, case characteristics, intervention or management approach, data sources, and analytic or assessment procedures, as applicable.
  • Results: Summarizes the findings or outcomes in sufficient detail to support the conclusion. For research studies, include relevant data such as sample size, measures of variability, and statistical findings, where applicable. For case studies, describe the clinical course, outcomes, response to intervention, complications, or key observations.
  • Conclusion: Provides a brief conclusion that follows logically from the results, data, or case findings. Clearly addresses the stated purpose, objective, or clinical question and describes the significance, implications, or lessons learned.

Submission Requirements

All abstracts must be in final form and all required fields completed. Authors may edit abstracts online until the submission deadline; however, no edits or corrections may be made after the deadline.

Each submitted abstract will be reviewed by the Program Committee for scientific merit, relevance, clarity, and compliance with the submission guidelines. Abstracts that do not meet these standards may be rejected.

Author Acknowledgements

By submitting an abstract, you acknowledge that:

  • At least one author will be present at the AC Forum National Conference to present the poster if accepted
  • All coauthors have consented to be listed on the submitted abstract
  • AC Forum has permission to post the abstract text on the conference website if accepted
  • The abstract represents original research, a case study, preliminary research, or previously presented work, as indicated in the submission
  • Research involving animals or human subjects complies with applicable regulatory and ethical requirements
  • The study does not include unidentified chemical compounds, drugs, or materials

Author Notifications

All correspondence, including notification of abstract acceptance and details for poster presentations, will be sent to the Corresponding Author (submitting author) via email. The corresponding author shall be responsible for informing all contributing authors of any related correspondence. At least one author must attend the meeting in order to present the poster. If this presenter is different from the person submitting the abstract you will need to provide their contact information on the submission form.
