Checking in at the Speaker Ready Room is the single most important action you will take to ensure that your presentation functions properly. All speakers are required to check into Speaker Ready located in the Arlington Ballroom Foyer. It is preferable that this is done at least 24 hours before the start of your session to ensure compatibility with the computers being used at the conference, as laptops cannot be used in the meeting rooms. Each session room will be operated by A/V staff that will assist in starting each presentation. Speakers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their session to introduce themselves to the session chair.

A NOTE TO MAC USERS

Mac users should not use “drag-and-drop” to insert pictures and video files. Most problems, such as the infamous “red x” are the result of this. Using the “INSERT” command from the menu will virtually eliminate these issues. The PowerPoint file must have the .ppt or .pptx suffix to be accepted. As noted above, QuickTime movies (.MOV) must be converted to a PC compatible format before submission.

All lost and found articles will be held at the conference registration desk.

Abstract posters will be displayed in the Exhibit Hall, which can be accessed as early as 9:30am on Thursday, April 3. You are encouraged to keep your poster on display for the duration of the conference until the Exhibit Hall closes on Saturday, April 5 at 10:45am

The Welcome Reception & Poster Presentation Session will take place Thursday, April 3 from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. Authors should plan on standing by their posters during this time.

The registration and information desk is located in the Arlington Ballroom Foyer and will be open during the following hours:

Wednesday, April 2: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Thursday, April 3: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Friday, April 4: 7:30 AM - 5:15 PM

Saturday, April 5: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Free wifi access is available for all AC Forum attendees.
